8 Simple Core Exercises You Can Do Anywhere

Whether you are trying to work on your abs or maybe just want to strengthen your mid-section, we want to share 8 simple core exercises that you can do anywhere. A strong core is critical in pretty much all athletic activities as it will help reduce the risk of injuries. In fact, your core is needed for just about everything from sitting to standing, bending, running, twisting and lifting. When your core is weak, your muscles are compromised which can cause everything from poor posture to low back pain. What is great about these core exercises is they require no weights, just the human body! A yoga mat will make it easier, however, it is not necessary.
We suggest doing each of these movements for 60 seconds, 1-2 days per week. Although this is the ultimate goal, we encourage you to start at your comfort level whether it be 15-20 seconds and work your way up from there.
